I had a delightful stay for one night at Holiday Inn - Johannesburg Sunnyside Park. Our room had a charming old-style decor that was beautifully done. the staff were exceptionally efficient and greeted us with warm kindness. the location was magnificent and peaceful, just a short distance from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Johannesburg Temple. we were conveniently close to large shopping complexes, Melville, and a lovely garden area. the room was a good size and had a comfortable mattress.

The location was comfortable and perfect, close to Slipstream Sculpture. Distance to the airport was just 0.5 km.

we liked it. clean place, staff was amazingly efficient. the room we had was exceptionally clean and brand-new. there was comprehensive breakfasts with a pancake machine. btw, the airport was 0.5 km away.

We stayed here for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed the place. The hotel was clean, facilities were overall nice, favourable and just superb location really close to motorways and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Johannesburg Temple and affluent and big shopping complexes.

I liked the building as well as the garden of Sunnyside Park Hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very, very friendly and helpful.

My stay was only one night, less than 16 hours, but it was very nice

One thing that was a disappointment was that the outside bar was not open on Sunday night and we would have preferred eating outside after sitting on a plane for 18 hours. Therefore we ate in the restaurant and did have the squash soup which was absolutely wonderful. We did ask for the recipe but the chef did not make a copy. Is there any way in which we can get his recipe?

Good and profedssional service from staff

My room was located next to the kitchen/ cooking area.My sleep was disturbed by noise until late at night and from early in the morning.

Great spot for checking out nearby restaurants and bars, plus super close to London Heathrow airport, just half a kilometer away.

The breakfasts were abundant and varied, featuring a delightful Pancake Machine. the facilities offered great convenience, and the hotel's location was peaceful, situated close to Africa outlets and upscale shopping complexes in a lovely area of Johannesburg.

Absolutely nothing - they stuffed up the reservation - and basically spoilt my sisters honeymoon night and still have not phoned back after speaking to them about the bad service. They gave the wrong room - they did not allow my sister and brother in law to go have breakfast as they said it was not included in the rate.

Good Hotel and nothing too much trouble for any member of staff. Very helpful reception people and choice of main restaurant and 'pub' on site for food. Very comfortable atmosphere, historical building with good garden area and swimming pool.
